The Chalice Condition

The Condition

First she feels it. Then it comes back carrying something she was never meant to witness.

First Contact

An emotion without an explanation.

When someone looks directly into Chalice’s eyes, she involuntarily absorbs the strongest emotion they are feeling.

No thoughts. No memories. No context. Only terror, grief, desire, shame, rage, or relief—felt as if it were her own.

The contact lasts only moments. What follows may take hours or days.

Stage One

The Emotion

Their eyes meet. The feeling strikes without warning. Chalice cannot tell what caused it, whether the person is in danger, or whether they are the danger.

The emotion tells her only one thing: something exists beneath the surface.

Stage Two

The Revelation

Later, the emotion returns with a sound, place, sensation, image, or sentence. The fragment may belong to the past, the present, or a future that has not happened yet.

It never gives Chalice enough certainty to know what she witnessed—or what she is expected to do.

The Waiting

Knowing it will return changes everything.

Chalice cannot summon a revelation. She cannot prevent one. Once she has felt someone deeply enough, she knows it will eventually find her.

Ordinary details begin to feel threatening. A phone rings once. A light remains on in an empty room. A wet footprint appears beside her bed.

The first contact frightens her. The waiting changes how she lives. The revelation forces her closer to something she may already have become part of.

The Chalice Condition is an original supernatural suspense series from Tru East Studios.
